We obtained a copy of the New CJ5 sales brochure. We know from Dave @ eWillys that brochure was printed in 1955 and then reprinted in 1956. Because Willys didn’t update the Jeep line each new model year, except for minor changes, ads and brochures could be reused. We have the 1956 verstion
The left center panel highlights the CJ5 creature comforts, including a covered glove box, “passenger safety rail”, and seating for seven!
The right panel highlights the many uses of the Jeep, including “personal use.” To be sure it “Serves as workhorse on the farm and in business when not in personal use.”
