A major complaint of farmers was that the Jeep’s low clearance meant it couldn’t be used for row-crop cultivation. As this brochure shows, Newgren thought otherwise. In the Monroe/Newgren film, the cultivator is featured and the announcer proclaims the it can be used in crops up to 23″ tall.
This brochure (Form 148-W) was printed after the introduction of the Monroe lift. However the pictures show the cultivator mounted on a Newgren lift.
